Hotel Fosse Himeji

The features of a business hotel were available including a microwave near reception. We could easily walk to a supermarket to pick up food to eat in. Also, we were able to walk comfortably to the Castle and train station. There was a slightly higher than usual step up into the bathroom which is OK for us but could be a challenge for someone with impaired mobility.

The small double (non-smoking) room was great value for money. It is exactly as advertised - small, but it has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and had a great night sleep. The staff were very friendly, available and happy to help at any time, and a late checkout is offered until 12pm. The location is a 15 minute walk to himeji castle, 5 minutes to the train station, and right in what seemed to be the central area of Himeji (public transport also seems to be available everywhere but we preferred to walk) Fantastic location and great value for money. We would stay there again and can recommend highly.

Location is close to Himeji station and lots of Izakaya’s. Very Easy walk to Himeji Castle as well whilst enjoying the sights. Rooms are a nice size and quiet. Staff helpful and friendly and was great we could store bags well before checkin.

It is well located. since it is really close to himeji station, I could go to osaka, hiroshima and kyoto relatively easy.

Everything. A little chill hotel for a good price and not far from Himeji Castle. It's also really clean and the personnel were respectful and nice.

The room and the bathroom were comfortable and spacious. From the window, we could see the castle.

Loved the room, it was very comfortable and the staff were all so lovely. It was central location which was a big plus for us.

The room is really good for 2 people, also the location is great, close to the train station.
